If you are interested in learning all about Solar Image Analysis and Visualization (and have a few spare dollars), then head over to Amazon, where you’ll find a hardcover collection of published papers from a workshop in Baltimore, Maryland held in October 2008.
The workshop brought together experts on image processing and Solar Physics from around the world to focus on the challenges presented by new ground- and space-based instrumentation. SESDA II personnel were responsible for all organizational aspects of the workshop including securing NASA funding, arranging the venue, inviting speakers, and reviewing and editing over 40 submitted papers.
