We are seeking a reliable Administrative Analyst to provide on-site support for the Planetary Data System (PDS) Management Council face-to-face meetings, as well as facilitate the collection of presentations to the Management Council. Keep the official minutes of PDS Management Council meetings, including teleconference calls. This work is at the Goddard Space Flight Center. NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center nestled in the Maryland suburbs of Greenbelt is just 30 minutes from the heartbeat of America – Washington, D.C. Now you can have it all, the nightlife, museums, great food and theatre. Work in a place that pushes the envelope of science every day, yet spy a deer or a Canadian goose as you stroll the grounds of Goddard during lunch.

You will need to maintain on-line documentation, and update budget material for the annual Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.

Maintain the PDS Management web site, including provision for curation of monthly and yearly reports from the nodes, and information related to the Management Council meetings.

Support the display of stand-up PDS exhibits at national and international planetary science meetings and staff them.

Provide statistical summaries of the PDS node reports, to include note of any node material not received.

Generate an annual report of activities, including highlights, accomplishments, and summary of reporting.

Travel is required several times per year (face-to-face Management Council meetings and science conference meetings)

• High School diploma with at least one year experience as an Administrative Analyst
• At least one year experience with Windows or MAC OS and Windows Office Pro
• Must be familiar with HTML to maintain website
• Interest in Plantary Sciences a plus
• Must be US Citizen or have Permanent Residency

Salary: $30,000 – $35,000 per year
