We are looking for a system administrator with at least ten years of experience to manage a collection of about 100 Windows, macOS and Linux workstations in the Earth Science Division (ESD) at NASA/GSFC. The candidate will work directly with scientists to enable their data processing and scientific needs while implementing NASA security policy. Strong Linux, Macintosh, Windows and interpersonal skills are necessary. Previous experience in a scientific computing environment is advantageous. Most of the servers have at least one RAID storage system attached; therefore a good working knowledge of such storage systems is also necessary. Knowledge of configuration and patch management tools, e.g., Jamf Pro, Puppet, Ansible, BigFix or Spacewalk, would be helpful in this position. The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Active Directory system.

Experience (required):
• At least 10 years experience with system administration with CentOS; RedHat; Mac; and Windows
• Knowledge of configuration and patch management tools
